ICA has become the first ever company from Turkey that has been accepted as a full member of the European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures (ASECAP) which is the reference organization for preparing and amending legislations in the in terms of private motorway operations, fee collecting, maintenance and repair works in the European Union. ICA General Manager Atilla Gokce has said in this regard: “As private motorway operator of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Northern Ring Motorway, we are continuing to be among the firsts in Turkey in international stage as well.” 

ICA, the consortium of IC Ictas Insaat and Astaldi, which was achieved global standards with the construction and operation of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Northern Ring Motorway, has been accepted as a member for European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures (ASECAP). ICA has become the first full member of ASECAP which includes companies from 22 countries that operate more than 50 thousand kilometers of motorways, bridges and tunnels and accepts only one member from each country. 

Stating that they continue to be among the firsts in Turkey in international stage as well by becoming a member of ASECAP which presents the opportunity to create a network of motorway operators in Europe, ICA General Manager Atilla Gokce has made the following statement: “As the private operator of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Northern Ring Motorway, providing drivers with a high quality, safe and comfortable journey has always been our priority goal. We have become the first ever company from Turkey that has been accepted as a full member of the 22 country organization ASECAP. Being included amongst the members who form most of the motorway network of Europe is a great honor for us. Private motorway operating which has started many years ago in Europe, is a quite recent business field for Turkey. We are continuing our works to perform them in the best possible way with the awareness of being Turkey’s one of the first motorway operators. Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Northern Ring Motorway, connects Europe and Asia physically. We believe that we will improve our services to higher standards thanks to ASECAP’s broad experience and know-how. We also think that we can support ASECAP with our experience and know-how arising from synthesis of Europe and Asia.”

Today ICA is rapidly continuing the M11 Motorway Project which is one of the major transportation investments in preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and will connect Moscow, the capital of Russian Federation with the country’s one of the most important cities, St. Petersburg. Also IKA consortium which ICA is part of, is working on the Menemen-Aliaga-Candarlı Motorway project which will connect Izmir’s one of the leading districts in terms of industry and trade, Aliaga to Candarli Port.
